There are zero sound problems whatsoever (something that was a huge issue with Assassin's Creed III) and really the issues we have here, certainly in terms of the graphics in Rogue, are things we've seen discussed before in reference to other versions of that particular game. Not even [email protected] would help ACIII. I played it for a good 6hrs today had no problems with it well except the audio crackle that really does need fixing but as for the rest it's play exactly the same of course it won't have same graphical quality as p.c I enjoyed it still am. I loved it. But is it really the dark side? Everything is either perfect... or utter trash. The optimization team has done an incredible job making the Switch version look as good as it possibly can. Black Flag is why Drunken Sailor still bounces around in my head on occasion. This looks like a demastered version of the game sold at a higher price than other versions no less. I’m actually playing the game as we speak, so if you want some first-hand feedback I am happy to provide it. At those specs and I would play Troll and I just for the novelty. Another garbage cash grab port for the Switch. We won't give away too much in terms of story here, but Rogue was a bit of a departure for the series, with a central protagonist who turns his back on the assassins to walk the path of the series' staple enemies. and, i can confirm the framerate is terrible, especially in chapter 6, it's below 20fps i'm sure of it. However, for everyone else, this goes back to the expectation of being wowed by the world, by the scale and scope of an Assassin’s Creed game. Can we have a more in-depth, separate review of that compared to AC3: Remastered? :::shaking my head:::: Did you not play this ever before on PS3, 360, Wii U, or PS4 or XB1? Nonsense, you do not need to cross reference a summary or a recap ‍♂️. No horrible audio like in Assassin’s Creed III! There wasn't a big demand for Assassin’s Creed III on the Switch. When games released they were stable final builds and only ever saw minor revisions down the line. Please note that some external links on this page are affiliate links, which means if you click them and make a purchase we may receive a small percentage of the sale. That has happened to me once in the remaster and I have yet to be able to replicate the experience but it was certainly a disturbing one. I'd suggest changing that to avoid getting anyone's hopes up. This port DOES suck however. So too the seemingly endless islands dotted around the map to discover, each one with a check-list of treasure chests, viewpoints, hostages and other activities that are just perfect for jumping in and cleaning up in a quick portable session. @JaxonH Wiiu version is 20 to 26 FPS in almost every scenario, the Switch version is slightly better in free roaming. Such a shame. Companies like this have a history of porting their major series to Nintendo in mediocre fashions and then not releasing further entries in those series on the platform. Black Flag would make for a great game for commutes or trips, and it's still a ton of fun to play. It goes goes down to 20 to 26 and it's very inconsistent just like the Wiiu version. Frame rate, control issues and graphic glitches....all sounds like it's worth a 8/10! However, this is still, for our money, one of the most entertaining of the main Assassin's Creed games simply by virtue of the fact it takes what made the stellar Black Flag so entertaining and just gives you more of it. Seeing that the NA version didn't have that banner on the cover made me question it. For example, the parkour here is occasionally a little less than precise, which means you may find yourself scrambling up a tree when you’re trying to run around a corner, or walking daintily along a wall when you’re trying to escape a mob of enemies in hot pursuit. I guess the point I’m getting at is, expecting anything beyond a straight port with a few minor spruce ups is kind of wishful thinking given the hardware. Do both games come on the cart here in the U.S.? ESRB Rating:  Please read our FTC Disclosure for more information. I wouldn’t say it’s bad, but there’s just better Assassins Creed games out there. @GrailUK LOLOLOLOL Nice ninja edit there, but I'll take it. Does the Amazon Japan version if there is one full Cart? He's still starting out when it comes to making online content, but aside from his writing he can found on his Twitch page under the handle SpontaneousJames. must be sad to be a nintendo fanboy. Assassin's Creed Rebel Collection is actually a compilation of the remaining 3 games of the America saga of the franchise: Black Flag, Freedom Cry (not on the cover), and Rogue. One of the biggest appeals of Creed games is how great the game looks and the organic-feeling world.
