A lot of people who don't go to college become successful in their fields of interest, such as artists, musicians, inventors, and entrepenurial type business-people, so hopefully your son can pursue his field of interest with or without college. A diagnosis now would be meaningless - "he could have grown out of it" and anyway how could I get him assessed - he doesn't know - I cant just make an appointment with a Psychologist / Psychiatrist.
